I also say glad you are recovering and planning to be vaccinated. I (72 yo) was hesitant also until October this year figuring I was retired and so low key not around people that i did not need the Vaccines - never got COVID virus. Then a neighbor 2 houses down from me got COVID and died within a weeks time which kind of woke me up to reality. I am now fully vaccinated and at least I have a little more protection than not doing it. Note - some can get COVID and have a mild reaction and recover, but it is on each individual person how they will react to COVID virus. Go ahead, disregard everything, and roll the dice you wont get real sick. Allot of people think the virus is fake, but go to your hospitals and ask the nurses and doctors there how real this virus is.

Shame shame on so-called "medical professionals" fearmongering like this. I've seen commenters saying things like, "Trust the professionals, not politicians." Really?? Excuse me, but these "professionals" have and ARE politicizing this issue. I mean c'mon. You can't enter the hospitial unless you've got a mask on, but 99% of people are wearing ineffective cloth masks that "professionals" know are useless. Not only useless, but actually CAUSE harm (especially in children). Nope. I have lost all respect for medical "professionals." I view them as politicized medical grifters, drug peddlers, and beneath contempt. Their behavior and stance since covid burst upon the scene has been anything but professional. I see no difference between the medical "profession" and the democratic party. Good luck with that.

Of course to enter the building everyone must be masked up and answer a barrage of questions. Soon people might have to produce a vaccine passport. The masks that nearly everyone wears are generally the ineffective cloth variety. These satisfy the gatekeepers and appear to qualm the fears of staff and administration. Nobody mentions that expecting a cloth mask to stop a virus is like expecting chicken wire to keep out a mosquito, but hey, we're not supposed to ask questions or notice anything, just obey orders right? This would all be comical if it weren't for the fact that our current political regime is prepared to spit all over our Constitution in order to achieve its goals, whatever they are. Certainly not public health. None of this has anything to do with public health. Obviously this is all about control, compliance, obedience. I've already had covid and recovered from it. It was no big deal. Not even as bad as the seasonal flu I've had in the past. The science says that since I've already had covid and recovered from it, my bodies own natural herd immunity is many many times greater than anything these vaccines bring to the table. Up to 13x greater in fact. That's why I'm not going to submit to being vaccinated. This vaccine has been proven to be dangerous, ineffective, and have serious side effects. But our political regime, in collusion with institutions like your hospital, private corporations, they are all working together collectively as government proxies to side-step the Constitution, private government proxies of tyranny. I'll never take these vaccines, and I'm not anti-vax. I'm pro-vax. Just not this vaccince. I'm not anti-vax, I'm anti-mandate. They will have to hunt me down like a wild animal and try to administer this vax by force, and I'll still resist. I'll die first, and whoever tries to inject me will likely catch lead poisoning. If it means removing my entire family from government oversight, so be it. I'm not the only one. You and your political party are so sanctimonious when it comes to calling people racists, Nazis, yet it and you are the embodiment of that which you decry. None of this is about public health or stopping the spread of a virus. It's about trying to force people to kneel. Our Southern border is wide open, Afghans being imported, none being tested. This isn't about public health. Your hospital is obviously a left leaning institution. It's obvious by all of the signs and posters about diversity and inclusion. Whenever a doctor or member of medical professional retires, someone in a position of power makes sure that the replacement is anyone "other" than a white man. I have witnessed this. Perhaps whomever this "person in power" is that makes these hiring decisions, perhaps they should educate themselves to the racial demographics of this area. This isn't Dallas Texas, Chicago, NYC, LA. This is the Ozarks. Obviously if someone is a white male trying to advance at Cox hospital, they are placed at the bottom of the stack, despite merit or ability, merely because of being born with white skin. The quality of care is suffering because of this, as underqualified diversity hiring that is blind to merit has diluted the intellect of medical staff. Even if my health suffers as a result, I'm just about DONE participating in your facility. It is leftist, and it is Anti-White.

This suggests that either the vaccince itself is the cause of the Delta variant, or that the vaccines weaken resistance to covid rather than prevent covid. In either case it suggests that it is the vaccinated, not the unvaccinated, that are the true typhoid Marys.

If the vaccines are safe and more vaccine equals better protection why not weekly booster shots?

I want you to understand that the people will hold this hospital responsible for any injuries due to a mandated vaccine in order to keep their jobs. Yes. We can't sue big pharma, but we can sue the employer for injuries. So, everyone make sure that you have bloodwork done before and after and document everything!

How religion poisons everything. “ How anyone could listen to some half baked preacher or TV news host over medical professionals is just beyond me. This man is a casualty of the hostility toward expertise in this country. "Not knowing who to trust"?? If I have a question about farming, I consult a farmer. If I have questions on the law, I consult a lawyer. Covid-19 - a highly transmissible virus that attacks the respiratory system (among other things) is a medical question, right? So how about trusting doctors instead of politicians and cable TV pundits?

I'm so sorry that he has been going through so much pain and suffering. If he has helped save some lives with his message then this is a great thing and I'm grateful he had the courage and willingness to come forward with this change of heart.
